A New View of Retail Wayfinding: Touch, Mobile, and Augmented Reality (Frog Design)

This presentation of Intel’s Intelligent Digital Signage Proof-of-Concept explores how technology can enhance the consumer experience in a retail store. Using holographic glass, this sign provides an extraordinary glimpse of the retail environment: wayfinding and promotional information are presented to users in through an augmented reality view of the store. Touchscreen technology empowers users to view content that is relevant to them, while mobile integration allows users to send information from the sign to their mobile phone to consume at their own convenience.
Emotionally Engaging UX through the Marriage of Content and Experience (Wirestone)

In this case study we will look at a touch wall and how the ambient marriage of rich media content, multi-touch and targeted sound work together to engage with users and help shape community awareness through emotional connections with content.
