Book Afliliate Programs

Interact has a relationship with a number of publishers as Book Affiliate Programs including WROX, Orielly and Manning. Part of this program includes being able to get new copies of books with the catch that you do a review for us that we can publish. for Book Reviews if there is a book that you want to review for our user group, then send an email to ptrequest@wiley.com. Identify the title and ISBN of the book, and where to ship the book to. After the review is posted, send us an e-mail to let us and wrox know about it.

REVIEW GUIDELINES
1. This is primarily a publicity review of your impressions. The aim is to raise awareness of the book in the community (as opposed to a technical/developmental review, though those notes are welcome in the author forums).
2. Manning welcomes reviews in a variety of places: blogs, developer sites, even Amazon.
3. We like to see a review two to six weeks from the time the book is received.
4. Because the bulk of our marketing is done in English, we ask that any reviews in other languages be translated for our publicity efforts.
5. Once a review is posted, you can send the link to
stho@manning.com, along with your name and affiliation (position, institution), as we often post snippets and links of reviews on the Manning site.
